I love work in copper metal, not only because of the malleable and resistant but also because of the beautiful and versatile in terms of patinas.
I made these unique designs in several step:
First, I oxidized the copper from a dark charcoal to a shimmery bronze then, I carefully wrapped these gorgeous gemstones: a blue Brazilian Agate and a Tanzanite Aura quartz. Finally, I hanged a lustrous champagne copper coin freshwater Pearls that have a marvelous red and green flashes of light.
To enhance the copper color of the design, I created a 925 sterling Silver ear wire.
Length: 3 inches approx. from the top of the ear wire to the bottom.
Weight: 5 gr each earring.
925 Sterling silver ear wire.
Every item comes carefully packaged in a sturdy gift box and padded envelope.

Something more about Copper:
"Nobody can argue the beauty of raw copper. Its reflective surface offers a sense of elegance...
However, copper will not stay shiny forever. Eventually it will oxidize and change. Often times when people hear the words "oxidized metal," they imagine damaging and unattractive red rust on iron. Iron does not age well. Copper, on the other hand, ages gracefully. Would you tell the Statue of Liberty she did not age well? After all she’s made of copper! The significant difference between these metals is that iron becomes soft and brittle when oxidized, whereas copper's distinctive green patina creates a durable, corrosion resistant layer that protects underlying metal from further weathering."
